It also owns the shared generating projects on behalf of the erstwhile Rajasthan State Electricity Board.

RRVPN calls for applications from eligible candidates for the position of Junior Engineer (Mechanical) to work in different power sector companies like Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd, Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd, Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd, Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd and Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Ltd in the state of Rajasthan.

Name of the Position: Junior Engineer (Mechanical)

Number of Vacancies: Total number of Vacancies is 47, which is divided as follows among the different categories

• SC – Open competition – 08, Female - 03

• ST – Open competition – 07, Female - 02

• OBC – Open competition – 07, Female - 03

• General – Open competition – 12, Female - 05

Remuneration: Selected candidates will be engaged initially as Probationary Trainees for a period of two years and during this period, they will get a fixed pay or Rs.10000 per month. After completion of period of probation, they will be coming under the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 with GP of Rs.3200/.

Eligibility Details:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must be engineering graduates with not less than 60% of aggregate marks/AMIE with not less than 55% of marks in aggregate in either power plant engineering/mechanical & automation engineering/thermal/production & industrial engineering/Production engineering/mechanical engineering from a recognized Indian institution/university. Even candidates with equivalent degree from a foreign university declared as equivalent to engineering by competent authority are eligible to apply.

Age: To apply for the position of Junior Engineer (Mechanical) candidates must not be less than 21 years and more than 35 years of the date of submission of application.

Cost of Application:
