Andhra Pradesh Grameena Vikas Bank came into existence in the year 2006 on the 31st of March and the bank came into existence by bringing together five different grameena banks. The bank is sponsored by the State Bank of India and the headquarters of the bank is located in the city of Warangal in Andhra Pradesh.

Andhra Pradesh Grameena Vikas Bank has invited applications from eligible Indian candidates domiciled in the state of Andhra Pradesh for the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and the details regarding the notification issued by the bank for the same are given below:

Name of the Vacancy: Office Assistants (Multipurpose) (post code: 04)

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 272, which is divided among the different categories as follows

• SC - 44

• OBC – 73

• ST – 19

• General – 136

Out of the 272 posts, 03 posts are reserved for VI, 03 for HI and 2 for OC and 39 for EXS candidates.

Pay Scale: Candidates appointed for the position of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) will come under the pay brand of 7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300-700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/1-19300 (20 Years). Therefore, the total beginning pay would be approximately Rs.13416 per month, which includes DA and HRA.

Period of Probation: One year

Eligibility requirements:

Educational qualification: To apply for this position, candidates must be graduates in any discipline and they should be proficient in Telugu. Preference will be given to candidates with computer skills.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of candidates will be based on their performance in written test followed by interview. The written test is fixed to be conducted on 09th of October 2011 at 9.30 am. Application fee:

Candidates will have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.300, which is inclusive of postal charges and SC/ST candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs.100, which is postal charges alone. Candidates residing in Warangal, Sangareddy, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Khammam, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts can pay the fee through any of the branches of APGVB and others can pay fee through any branches of SBI. The fee should be paid through appropriate challan applicable for SBI and APGVB for Officer Assistant position. The fee should be paid between 27th of July and 22nd of August 2011 before online submission of application.

Once application is made online, the system generated print out should be kept by the candidates for future reference.
