Seth G.L. Bihani S.D. Law College began its journey in the year 1967 as the faculty of law in the Seth G.L. Bihani S.D. PG College. From the year 2005, it is operating as a separate law college. The college is offering law education with affiliation from the Maharaja Ganga Singh University and with approval from the Bar Council of India.

Bachelor of Law (LL. B):

Seth G.L. Bihani S.D. Law (PG) College offers Bachelor of Law course and the duration of this course is three years. Each year of the course has nine subjects, the first and second year of the course has seven compulsory subjects each and one optional paper and one practical paper each, therefore, making a total of nine papers for each year. The final year of the LL. B course include five compulsory subjects, three optional papers and a practical paper.

Master of Law (LL. M):

The duration of LL. M course is two years and there are four papers for each year.

Eligibility requirement:

Any candidate, who has completed his/her bachelor’s or master’s degree in any stream of education with not less than 45% of marks are eligible to apply to the LL. B course offered by the Seth G.L. Bihani S.D. Law (PG) College. For admission to the PG course in law, candidates must have completed their Bachelor’s degree in law from an institution recognized by the Bar Council of India.

Library:

Seth G.L. Bihani S.D. Law (PG) College is provided with well-furnished library facility with a wide collection of books pertaining to law. The library has a vast reading room attached to it and this room offers a conducive environment in such a way that users can get full-concentration. Up-to-date reading materials are provided by the library and there are approximately 16000 books in the library, which includes reference books and textbooks.
