NABARD, a leading government firm generally recruits candidates for the posts of assistant manager and manger (grade A and grade B).All the eligible candidates with very good knowledge in Hindi and English can apply for this post.

Structure of NABARD Grade A/B Exam

The exam will be having two stages. The first stage consists of written exam and the second stage consists of interview. The first stage is again divided into two phases.

Phase one again having two papers.

Paper one will be having questions from

  • General Awareness
  • Test of English
  • Numerical/Quantitative Aptitude
  • Reasoning

Paper two will be descriptive type test on English. Candidates will be asked to answer passages and comprehensions. Phase two will be having questions from economic and social issues. Interview will be only for those candidates who score high rank in the written exam.

Test for reasoning

Test of reasoning includes verbal and non verbal type of questions. The test will be also having questions from

  • Relationship concepts
  • Arithmetical reasoning

  • Symbols and their relations

Test of English language

There will be questions to check each candidate’s skill in English and his / her fluency in English. The questions will be based on:

  • Grammar
  • Vocabulary
  • Sentence completion
  • Synonyms
  • Antonyms
  • Comprehension of a passage

Test of Numeric Ability

The questions will be from topics like,

  • Decimals and fractions
  • Relationship between numbers

The questions will used to check the candidates ability in mathematical problems and how quickly he / she can solve a problem.

Test of General knowledge and general awareness

This section will include questions to check the candidate’s knowledge in the events taking place across him.

How to Apply?

Application from eligible candidates can be submitted through net. That is only online application forms are allowed. Candidate should download the Challan for paying the fees from the official website of NABARD. Fill up the Challan with all the details. Candidates can pay the fees at branches of State Bank of India.

How to fill the Form?

Candidate can only register through online. Candidate can fill the form by looking at the sample given to him / her. The sample will be given along within application form. Fill all the information in the correct column. Candidates can only enter the details in English. No other language is accepted.

Eligibility Criteria

For A grade post (RDBBS) in the NABARD, the candidate should have a bachelor’s degree with minimum 55% marks. In the case of scheduled caste and scheduled tribe 45 %marks are only required. The candidate with post graduate degree will be given weightage in the interview.

In Rajbhasha service, the candidate should have degree in Hindi with 55% .For SC/ST candidates the % of marks required is 45%.The candidates with PG degree in Hindi or Sanskrit with a minimum 2 years experience in translation work. The candidate should have a working knowledge for minimum 1 year.

In the case of legal service post, candidate should have a degree certificate in law.

The candidate should have practiced as advocate or solicitor for minimum five years. For SC/ST candidates minimum 4 years experience is required. If the candidate is having PG in law then he / she will be given special weight ages in the interview.

All the candidates should have computer knowledge.

Age limit for the post of assistant manager is 28 years and lower age limit is 21 years.

Age limit for grade b post is 34 and lower age limit is 21years.

There is age relaxation for the candidates in the reservation category.

The important dates that the candidates should remember are given below.

  • Application will be available online from the first week of February, Date of closure of online application form is the last week of February
  • Exam will be on the last week of March.

Candidate should have some taste in reading. This is because reading many books will increase his / her knowledge in the language. Candidate should read lots of English books. Candidates who have applied in Hindi also should read both English and Hindi books. For general knowledge candidate can read newspapers.

Score Validity

The rank list of the examination will be valid until the vacancies are filled or till the next notification of the exam comes.
