Institute profile: BIET was established in the year 1989. It is an autonomous institute with a variety of courses to offer both at the graduation level and post graduation level. It has an excellent placement record and it has some excellent facilities. 

Job profile: The professors and lecturers will be responsible for imparting quality education to the students and give them a sufficient knowledge to gain the competitive edge. They will be required to train and guide the students to face the challenges ahead.

Educational Qualifications: For Professor – A candidate must be a PhD with a first class Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the relevant branch with an experience of 10 years out of 5 years must be at assistant professor level. For lecturer – A candidate must have a first class Master’s degree or a first class Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 75 percentile gate score in the relevant field.

No. of posts: There are 3 posts for professors and there are 5 posts for lecturers.

Pay scale: The professors will be offered a pay scale of Rs 16400-22400 and the lecturers will be given a pay scale of Rs8000-13500 plus other allowances as per the rules.

Selection procedure: The candidates have to appear for an interview. The selection will be on the basis of their qualifications, experience and their performance in the interview.
