Department of Animal & Fisheries of the Bihar Government has called for applications from eligible candidates, who are domiciled in Bihar for the position of Touring Veterinary Medical Officer on contract basis and here are the details regarding the notification:

Name of the Vacancy: Touring Veterinary Medical Officer

Number of Vacancies: 300

Pay Scale: Since the position is filled on contract basis, selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs.22500 during the period of contract.

Period of Contract: One year

Eligibility requirements:

Educational qualification: Candidates must have completed their graduation in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (i.e.) B.V. Sc & A.H Course from a recognized institution and should also have completed their compulsory internship training. In addition, they should also been registered with the Bihar Veterinary Council located in Patna.

Age: The upper age limit for male candidates to apply for the post of Touring Veterinary Medical Officer is 37 years, while for women candidates, the upper age limit is 42 years.
