Doctor of Medicine is a postgraduate degree course for doctors. This degree is needed by physicians who want to practice medicine. There are various streams for specialization in MD. Exam pattern of MD course

The exam consists of multiple choice questions. There are two sections in the paper. The first section is the General paper, and the second is the special paper. The number of question in the paper is 240. The duration of the test is 3 hours each.

General guidelines for preparing for MD Entrance Exams

The MD Entrance exams are highly competitive as the number of seats in each institute is very less. The candidates who are well prepared can only get through the exam. The candidates should focus on tough portions first and then complete the easy portions. The candidate should follow a systematic study plan and start preparing well in advance. The aspirants should start their preparation from the final year of MBBS itself. The candidate should have a thorough knowledge on all the basics. The aspirants should refer to previous years question papers and should keep themselves updated with all the changes in the exam pattern for various entrance exams. The aspirants should practice with different reference books available. The candidate should revise each topic at least 1 week before the exam. The aspirants should manage time and prepare well for the exam.

    will d colleges or universities consider the marks cored in first year mbbs for admission of MD?
    will there be any difficulty for students who failed in first year mbbs to appear for MD entrance exam?
