Undergraduate Courses

The candidate should have passed the intermediate course from any of the reputed educational institutions. The XII class must be passed with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects. The candidate should possess minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examination to apply for the course.

Post Graduate Courses

The candidates who possess B.E or B.Tech in the respective area of Engineering or Technology are eligible for postgraduate courses (in the concerned subject). Those who possess any of the degrees of AMIE(I), AMIIM, AMIIChE, are also eligible for M.Tech courses offered by NIT, Durgapur.

Admission Procedure for various courses in National Institute of Technology, Durgapur

In order to get admission to undergraduate courses offered, the candidate must score well in AIEEE exam carried out nationally. The exam is carried out in different centers across India. The candidate has to prepare well in advance to clear this complex entrance test.

The applicant should possess valid score in national level entrance exams in order to get in to the postgraduate courses. The candidate has to qualify in the GATE entrance exam to seek admission to M.Tech courses.
