National Institute of Public Co-operation and Child Development shortly called as NIPCCD is a premier organization devoted towards promotion of training and development and voluntary action research in the overall area of Women and child development.

Recruitment by NIPCCD:

NIPCCD has invited applications from eligible Indian citizens for appointment of candidates to the regular positions. Here are the details regarding the notification issued by the Institute in this regard:

Name of the Vacancies: Joint Director, Deputy Director, Assistant Director, Research Assistant, Associate Librarian, Junior Hindi Translator, Assistant Librarian, LCD/Typist

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 12 divided among the aforesaid positions as follows:

1. Joint Director (Programme Division)/Regional Director – 01 (UR)

2. Deputy Director (Programme Division) – 01 (OBC)

3. Assistant Director – 02 (UR)

4. Research Assistant – 03 (UR – 01, PH – 01, SC-01)

5. Associate Librarian – 01 (UR)

6. Junior Hindi Translator – 01 (OBC)

7. Assistant Librarian – 01 (SC)

8. LCD/Typist – 02 (OBC)

Research Assistant position reserved for PH candidates is meant for candidates with one leg or muscular weakness.

Pay Scale: PB-3 is applicable for first three positions at Rs.15600-39100+GP of Rs.7600 for position 1, Rs.6600 for position 2 and Rs.5400 for position 3, PB-2 is applicable for next three positions at Rs.9300-34800+GP of Rs.4200 and PB-1 is applicable to other two positions at Rs.5200-20200 + GP of Rs.2800 for position 7 and Rs.1900 for position 8.

Eligibility requirements:

Age: the maximum age limit for each position is given below:

• Joint Director – 50 years

• Deputy Director – 45 years

• Assistant Director – 35 years

• Research Assistant – 30 years

• Associate Librarian – 35 years

• Junior Hindi Translator – 28 years

• Assistant Librarian – 30 years

• LCD/Typist – 18 to 27 years

The upper age limit is relaxable for reserved category candidates according to the rules of central government.

Cost of application:

Application fee is Rs.100 and this fee should be paid in the form of DD drawn in favor of the National Institute of Public Cooperation and Childe Development payable at New Delhi. Candidates falling under SC/ST/PH category are exempted from payment of application fee.
