The Amrapali Institute of Technology shortly called as AIT is a pioneering institution in the field of technical education in the state of Bihar and the institution came into existence in the year 2009. The institute has presently grown swiftly with huge campus, ample space for classrooms and tutorials and well-equipped labs.  AIT works on three basic principles being encouraging creativity, futuristic approach and education quality transfer. With these three principles, the institution has been growing considerably right from its inception.

Courses offered:

Amrapali Institute of Technology offers the following courses with affiliation from the Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University and with approval from the All India Council for Technical Education:

• Bachelor of Technology in

o Electronics & Communication Engineering

o Mechanical Engineering

o Civil Engineering

o Computer Science & Engineering

For all these branches of B. Tech, the institute is permitted to admit 60 students per year. Admission of students to these courses is done on the basis of AIEEE and Bihar Engineering Entrance Exam score of the candidates. For candidates without any of these two scores, AIT itself conducts an entrance examination.

Amrapali Institute of Technology is patronized by an industrial house, which has its own requirement of quality engineers belonging to different streams of engineering. Therefore, the students of the institution are prepared in such a way that they can become highly suitable for the corporate world. The institute aspires to have strong academy-industrial interface through an active corporate resource centre at New Delhi with an active and strong placement cell.

Scholarship programme for students:

Amrapali Institute of Technology has a provision of merit scholarship for eligible candidates and students will be selected for scholarship by the scholarship committee at the beginning of every educational session. The following criteria are followed by the scholarship committee for selection of appropriate students for scholarship:

• 25% scholarship for candidates with 85% or above aggregate in ICSE/CBSE/Bihar or other state board examination

• 50% scholarship for candidates with 90% or above aggregate in ICSE/CBSE/Bihar or other state board examination

• 100% scholarship for candidates with 95% or above aggregate in ICSE/CBSE/Bihar or other state board examination

• 20% discount on tuition for girls
