Korba is an administrative district in the state of Chhattisgarh located in the central part of the nation. The district has the city of Korba as its headquarters and it is located  in the northern rock hill area of the state and it is popular for its coal mines like Gevra Area, Dipka Area and Kusmunda area. Even power plants like CSEB East-West, NTPC and Balco Aluminum Plant are located in Korba district. As per the census conducted in the year 2011, the district has a population of nearly 12 lakh people, which is roughly equal to the population in the nation of Behrain.
