Acharya Nagarjuna University, one of the largest universities in the country provides the candidates with various diplomas, under graduate and post graduate programmes in different fields such as commerce, law, science, technology, management, pharmacy, physical education, engineering, architecture, etc. The University conducts entrance test yearly at national level for the admission of candidates to its Master of Science course in Botany.

Structure of Acharya Nagarjuna University M.Sc. Botany entrance exam

The Acharya Nagarjuna University M.Sc. Botany entrance exam will consist of 100 objective type multiple choice questions which has to be answered within 90 minutes. Questions will be generally from the core subjects one have pursed in the under graduate course. There will be 3 sections; the first section covers the topics one has studied in the 1st  year B.Sc, second section comprising questions from II year B.Sc topics and III section from III year B.Sc subjects.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the admission to the M.Sc Botany course, the candidates should have completed their B.Sc. with Botany and Chemistry as the two core subjects or B.Sc. with Botany as main and Chemistry as ancillary subject.

How to Apply?

The aspirants can obtain the application form directly from various centres by fee payment of Rs. 300/-. One can also receive application form through post for which a request letter along with demand draft of Rs. 350/- in favour of Director, Directorate of Admissions, A.N.U. has to be send to the concerned address. The completely filled application form along with acknowledgement card, 3 stamped envelopes and attested photocopies of certificates have to be send to the University center before the last date

How to fill the Form?

The candidates have to take intense care while filling in the form. All the columns have to be filled. The candidates should also write owns address on the envelope and acknowledgement card and affix postal stamps as required. All the necessary information required for completing the application form are mentioned in the prospectus. The applicants are advised to go through that before filling.
