Ayurvedia Pharmacist - Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Board
As the name of the board implies, Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Board is responsible for conducting recruitment examination for recruitment of candidates to different subordinate services in the state of Himachal Pradesh.

Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Board has invited applications in sealed covers in prescribed format from eligible candidates for the position of Ayurvedic Pharmacist for the Department of Ayurveda of Government of HP on contract basis and here are the details about the same:
Name of the Vacancy: Ayurvedic Pharmacist (Post Code: 319)
Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 237, which is divided among the different category of candidates as given below:
• Gen(UR)- 102
• Gen(IRDP/BPL) - 25
• Gen(WFF) – 03
• SC(UR)- 41
• SC(IRDP/BPL)- 10
• SC(WFF)-01
• ST(UR)- 10
• ST(IRDP/BPL)- 02

Pay scale: Selected candidates, will be coming under the pay brand of Rs. 5910-20200+3000 Grade Pay
Eligibility requirements:
Education: Candidates must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or university. They should have completed successful training for a period of minimum two years in Ayurvedic Compounder or pharmacist or they must have completed B.Pharm/D. Pharm in Ayurveda from the HP Takniki Shiksha Board/from the university recognized by the state government of HP. Desirable qualification is knowledge of dialects, manners and customs of the state and suitability for appointment in peculiar conditions prevailing in the state.
Age: Candidates must be between the age group of 18 years and 45 years as on the 13th of December 2011. Five years upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/candidates with disabilities or grand children/children of freedom fighters of HP.
Selection Process:

Application forms:
Application forms are available in all sub post offices and all post offices in the state and other outlets of authorized dealers. The application cost is Rs.170 for general category candidates and Rs.65 for reserved category candidates. The fee for examination is also included in the cost of application.
How to apply:
Application as obtained from any post office/retail outlets must be duly filled and sent to the address given below before the 12th of January 2012. For candidates from far-flung areas, the last date for receipt of application is 27th of January 2012:
