Parvatiya Gramin Bank (PGB) was established on November 2, 1985 by the Government of India. The bank was actually established under the Regional Rural Banks Act 1976. The head office of the bank is located at Chamba, Himachal Pradesh. The bank is sponsered by State Bank of India. Parvatiya Gramin Bank, Chamba is considered as the only Regional Rural Bank sponsored by State Bank of India in the state of Himachal Pradesh.
