Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited has called for applications from eligible candidates for the position of Junior Engineer Trainee in civil engineering and electrical & mechanical engineering disciplines and here are the details regarding the notification issued by the corporation in this regard:
Name of the Position: Junior Engineer Trainee
Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 90, which is divided between the two disciplines of engineering as follows:
• Civil Engineering – 13
• Electrical & Mechanical - 77
Remuneration: Candidates appointed for the position of Junior Engineer (Trainee) will be coming under the pay band of Rs.9300-34800+4200 GP.
Educational qualification:
To apply for the position of Junior Engineer (Trainee), candidates must have completed their B.E/B. Tech /AMIE in appropriate discipline from a recognized university.

Mode of Selection:
Selection will be done according to the performance of the candidates in written test and personal interview, the written test for the position of Junior Engineer will be conducted for three-hour duration and the written test will have 88 questions, interview will have 12 questions.
Application fee:
Application fee to be paid by general category candidates is Rs.400 and by candidates belonging to SC/ST category is Rs.200 and this fee should be paid in the form of DD drawn in favor of ‘EE (HQ), UPCL, payable at Dehradun.
