Himachal Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation Limited (HPPTCL) was established in December 2006 under the Companies Act 1956. The main objective of the Corporation is to plan, promote and organize the development of all aspects of hydroelectric power in Himachal Pradesh. Himachal Pradesh State Government (GoHP) holds 60% share, and Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board (HPSEB) holds 40% share of the Corporation. The corporation works under the under the Chairpersonship of Smt. Rajwant Sandhu, IAS. The corporation is involved in many power projects in various parts of Himachal Pradesh with a total projected capacity of more than 1000 MW. The corporation aims to expand its power development activities in other areas such as thermal, renewable sources of energy like solar power, besides involving in Hydro Power Development projects. The main idea behind this is to meet the growing energy demand, ensuring environment and ecological balance.

H.P Power Transmission Corporation Limited invites application from eligible candidates for the posts of Apprentice Engineer, Apprentice Executive and Apprentice Junior Engineer (JE).

No. of posts: Apprentice Engineer (Electrical - 4, Civil - 2, I.T - 1), Apprentice Executive (Finance -2, H.R Personnel - 2), Apprentice Junior Engineer (JE) (Civil - 2, Electrical - 4)

Eligibility:

Age criteria - 18 yrs to 30 yrs

Educational Qualification – Apprentice Engineer: B.E/ B.Tech degree in relevant discipline with not less than 60% marks; Apprentice Executive: MBA in relevant discipline with not less than 60% marks; Apprentice JE: Diploma in Engineering in relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks.

Selection Process:
