Period of Training: One Year

Pay scale: During the period of training, candidates will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs.12000 and on successful completion of training, Diploma Engineers will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.11590-20390.

Educational Qualification:

Since Diploma Engineers are needed for disciplines like chemical/civil/metallurgy/electronics/electrical/production/mechanical, candidates must be three-year diploma holders in appropriate disciplines.

Experience:

Candidates must have minimum two years experience in relevant field inclusive of training in assembling, fabrication, forging, casting, tool making, CAM/CAD/Tool making and two years experience in Tool production/CNC Machine/operating machine tools, etc…

Age:

Upper age requirement for the position of Diploma Engineer (Trainee) is not more than 30 years as on the 1st of November 2011. A relaxation of five years, three years and 10 years is applicable for SC/ST, OBC (non-creamy layer) and PH candidates respectively. Upper age relaxation is also applicable for candidates presently working for HEC.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of candidates will be based on their performance in interview and shortlisted candidates will only be called for interview. The short listing will be done on the basis of length of experience, educational qualification and level of specializations in related industry.

Application fee:

General and OBC candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs.300 and SC/ST/PH and employees of HEC are exempted from payment of fee. Fee should be paid through challan that can be downloaded from the website of HEC. After filling up the bank challan, candidates will have to make payment to the nearest SBI branch using the challan. After payment of fee, candidates will have to get the HEC copy and applicants copy with banker’s signature.

After payment of fee, candidates will have to visit the website of HEC with the e-mail id, which will be active for one year and they will have to apply online before 17th of February 2012.
