GT stands for Graduate Trainee.

With the Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, you are positively eligible to apply for the Graduate Trainee Post in any of the Government body.

Most of the companies that have the post of GT will hire students who have undergone at least one of following subjects,

Chemical
Computer Engineering
Mechanical
Petroleum
Automobile
Electrical
Instrumentation
Civil
Electronics
Telecom

Your aggregate in the Graduation should be more than 60% with no active back subjects.

Your age should be less than 28 years.

Application Procedure:

You may apply online or offline to this post based on the notifications released.

The Application fee for ONGC, HLL, HAL, ECIL, DRDO, BSNL, etc,. would be Rs. 500/-.

And Rs.100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

Selection Procedure :

The first one would be the screening test which may be Written Test or an Online Test based on the organization you attending for.

The syllabus for this would be the Aptitude and Quantitative Ability, Reasoning, English Grammar, etc,.

The second round would be Technical Round to test your technical skills.

And the final round will be HR.
