Andhra Pradesh District Selection Committee was established by the Andhra Pradesh Government and as from the name, the committee is responsible for selection of appropriate candidates for government jobs positions in districts functioning in the state of AP.

Andhra Pradesh District Selection Committee has called for applications from eligible candidates through online from 16th of February 2012 to 17th of March 2012 for recruitment to the position of Secondary Grade Teachers to work in Mandal Parishad Schools, Zila Parishad Schools, Government schools and schools functioning under the Tribal and Welfare Department of Municipalities in the state of AP and here are the details regarding the notification issued in this regard:

Eligibility requirements:

Education: To apply for the position of Secondary Grade Teachers, candidates should possess Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education’s Intermediate Certificate or any other equivalent certificate as recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education of the State of AP and two year Diploma in Education certificate issued by the Director of Government Examinations, Andhra Pradesh or its equivalent certification as recognized by the NCTE.

Age: Lower age limit is 18 years and upper age limit is 39 years as on the 1st of July 2012, the upper age limit for SC/ST candidates is 44 years and for PH candidates, the upper age limit is 49 years.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of candidates will be done according to their performance in written test, which should be taken up by the candidates only in the district in which they are applying. Date of written test for Secondary Grade Teacher position in all subjects is 2nd of May 2012 from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm. Date and time applicable for secondary grade teachers in schools of deaf/dump/blind is 4th of May 2012 from 10.00am and 12.30pm.

Application fee:

Applicants will have to pay Rs.250 towards application processing and recruitment test through e-seva or AP Online from 16th of February 2012 to 16th of March 2012.

How to apply:

Applications will be open in the website of http://apdsc.cgg.gov.in from 16th of February 2012 to 17th of March 2012 and online application should be submitted before the last date.
