Andhra Pradesh Horticultural University was established under the Government of Andhra Pradesh at Venkataramannagudem. The university is the second Horticultural University present in the country. The Undergradute and Post Graduate educational programmes that are being offered in Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University, Hyderabad were also brought in the Andhra Pradesh Horticultural University.
