Eligibility requirements:

Education: Since School Assistants are required for different subjects like mathematics, physical sciences, biological sciences, social studies, English, Telugu, Hindi, Urdu, Kannada, Tamil, Oriya, Marati, Sanskrit and Physical Education, candidates must be UG degree holders in appropriate subjects and for detailed information regarding the educational qualification requirement for this position, candidates can visit http://apdsc.cgg.gov.in/APDSCJAN2012/INFORMATION_BULLITEN.pdf

Age: Lower age limit is 18 years and upper age limit is 39 years as on the 1st of July 2012, the upper age limit for SC/ST candidates is 44 years and for PH candidates, the upper age limit is 49 years.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of candidates will be done according to their performance in written test, which should be taken up by the candidates only in the district in which they are applying. Date of written test for School Assistants in all subjects except for language subjects is 3rd of May 2012 from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm, while the time of exam for language subjects is the afternoon session (2.00 to 4.30 pm) of 3rd May 2012. Date and time applicable for school Assistants (except language subjects) in schools of deaf/dump/blind is 4th of May 2012 from 2.00 pm and 4.30 pm.

Application fee:

Applicants will have to pay Rs.250 towards application processing and recruitment test through e-seva or AP Online from 16th of February 2012 to 16th of March 2012.
