Maulana Azad National Urdu University is a renowned university which comes under an Act of Parlimanet. The university actually came into existence in the year 1998. The university is also famous for being the one and only udru university present in the world. It provides various Diploma, degree and post graduate degree courses in Urdu Medium. University provides both regular as well as distance education facilities to the students. The university mainly works on its aim of promoting urdu language in the country and also to impart various technical as well as non technical courses in urdu medium.

Applications are invited from eligible Indian Nationals for filling up the vacant teaching positions of Professors, Director, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors in Maulana Azad National Urdu University. The post of Director is available in the disciplines of Physical Education.

Posts of Professors are available in the disciplines of English, Persian, Education, Women Education and Business Management.

1. Recruitment of Professors:
Posts Available: Only 7 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should be an eminent scholar with Ph.D qualification in concerned discipline. Minimum 10 years teaching experience is required for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10000.

2. Recruitment of Director (Physical Education):

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Ph.D qualification in Physical Education with minimum 10 years experience as University Deputy Director of Physical Education.

3. Recruitment of Associate Professors:

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Ph.D. degree in the concerned discipline with atleast 55% marks at Master’s degree level and minimum 8 years teaching experience.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 9000.

Posts of Assistant Professors are available in the disciplines of English, Persian, Arabic, Social Work, Business Management, Education, Residential Coaching Academy, Physics, Computer Science & Engineering and Mass Comunication & Journalism.

4. Recruitment of Assistant Professors:
Posts Available: Only 12 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess minimum 55% marks at Master’s degree level in the concerned discipline. Candidates should also have cleared the NAtional Eligibility Test conducted by UGC, CSIR.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6000.

Application Fee:

An application fee of Rs. 500 is need to be paid by General and OBC candidates. SC/ST candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 50 only. The payment of application fee should be done through Demand Draft. The demand draft should be drawn in favour of Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad. The demand draft should be drawn on any Nationalized Bank payable at Hyderabad.
