Maulana Azad National Urdu University was established in the year 1988 under Government of India. The university was founded under an Act of Parlimanet. The university is known as the only udru university present in the world at present. The major functionality of the university includes the improvement or development of the urdu language in the country. The university provides various Diploma, Degree and Post Graduate Degree courses in Urdu Medium to the students. The university offers the courses in both regular as well as distance education form. The university has made a strong impact on student in terms of providing excellent education facilities.

Job Profile:

Applications are invited from eligible and qualified candidates for the teaching post of Assistant Professor in Maulana Azad National Urdu University. Candidates will have to teach different subjects in the university. Selected candidates will be posted at Headquarters or any of the institutions or offices of the university in the country.

Eligibility:

50 years is the prescribed maximum age limit set for the post of Professor in Maulana Azad National Urdu University. Canddiates should not have age more tha this maximum age limit otherwise their application will not be considered by the university at all. Relaxation of few years is available for reserved category candidates as per government of india rules.

Educational Qualification:

Master’s degree in the relavnt subject from an Indian University with atleast 55% marks in aggregate is required as minimum qualification for the post of Assistant Professor in Maulana Azad National Urdu University. Candidates should also possess a good acedemic record throughout. Candidates having educational qualification lesss than Master’s degree should not apply for the respective post as their application will be summarily rejected by the university.

Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with the Grade Pay of Rs. 6000.

Application Fee:

All interested candidates belonging to General and OBC categories, are required to submit a sum of Rs. 500 as Registration fee. SC/ST/PWD candidates should submit only Rs. 50 as the registration fee. The registration fee is need to be submitted through crossed demand draft only. The Demand Draft must be drawn in favour of Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderbabd on any nationalized bank payable at Hyderabad.

Selection Process:

University will shortlist candidates on the basis of their applications. Only these shortlisted canddiates will then be called for the personal interview test by the university. Candidate’s performance in this personal interview test will decide about their selection on the respective post in the university. All candidates are advised to prepare well for this personal interview.

How to apply: Application form complete in all respect accompanied by the other relavant certificates, demand draft of requisite amount and a self address envelope with a stamp of Rs. 5 affixed on it, should be submitted to sent to the following address before the last date for the reciept of application. Application forms recieved after due date will not be considered by the university in any case.
