NHRDF National Horticultural Research and Development Foundation was established in the year 1977. It deals in horticulture, soil testing, entomology etc. It is established to improve the quality of the products and services and also to set reasonable prices of the goods. It has 5 research centres, 8 labs and 20 extended centres. It has excellent research facilities and technology.

Job profile: The technical officers will be required to work in departments like horticulture, plant pathology and entomology. They will be required to carry out experiments and research work in the above said fields.

Eligibility: A candidate must be between the age of 22 and 25 years. However, relaxation can be claimed as per the rules.

Educational Qualifications: A candidate must have a Master’s degree in the concerned field with a minimum experience of one and a half years OR a candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in the concerned field with a minimum experience of 2 years in the relevant field. All the qualifications must be from a recognized university or an institution.

No. of posts: There are 3 posts in total which include 1 post each in horticulture, plant pathology and entomology.

Pay scale: A technical officer will be given a pay scale of Rs9300-34800 plus a grade pay of Rs4200 plus other allowances like HRA, DA, PF etc as per the rules.

Selection process: The candidates will be short listed on the basis of their qualification and the short listed candidates will be called for the interview.

How to apply: The candidates are required to apply on a plain paper having the details of their essential particulars. The candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs300 in the form of a DD drawn in the favor of National Horticulture Research and Development Foundation payable at Nasik. All the applications must be sent to the Director of the foundation.
