Andhra Pradesh Horticultural University was established by the Government of Andhra Pradesh at Venkataramannagudem. The university is the second Horticultural University in the country. The university was initially managed by the Agricultural Production Commissioner and Principal Secretary to the government. The university offers various undergraduate as well as the post graduate courses to the students. The Board of Management of the university was formed in the year 2008.
