Admission to Pharmacy Courses in Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University (BVDU)
B.Pharm and M.Pharm are the pharmaceutical courses offered at Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University. Admission to these courses is offered on the basis of national level entrance tests conducted by the University. PHARMUG is the entrance test for UG courses where as PHARMPG is the entrance test for PG programs.

Admission Procedure for Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
Admission to these courses is offered on the basis of an all India entrance exam called PHARMUG. The test is conducted common for admission to both the courses. Indian nationals who have completed HSC with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects are eligible to apply. Such candidates should have studied Biotechnology or Mathematics or Biology or Computer Science as optional subjects. Diploma holders in Pharmacy are also eligible to apply.
Minimum 45% marks in HSC or 50% marks in diploma in pharmacy is required for admission to B.Pharm course.
PHARMUG for B.Pharm is conducted as a single paper test. There will be 200 questions for the test. Questions are asked from topics related to Physics and Chemistry. There will be 100 questions from each of these sections.

Admission Procedure for Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm)
Admission to M.Pharm course is offered on the merit basis of an entrance test conducted by BVDU, PHARMPG. University conducts the entrance test at national level and candidates who have completed B.Pharm course are eligible to apply for the same. B.Pharm course must be passed with minimum 60% marks from a recognized institution. Those who have qualified GPAT are eligible for admission.
PHARMPG is conducted as an objective model test. There will be 200 questions for the test which must be completed in time period of 3 hours. There is no negative marking for the test. Syllabus for the exam is based on the topics covered under Bachelor of Pharmacy.
