Candidates who wish to join Master of Science in Plant Science should have completed graduation in Biology with Botany as one subject. The duration of the course is 2 years. Those who have completed post graduation in Plant Science can go for higher studies such as doctoral programmes. Apart from this, candidates can seek employment as Forester, Ecologists or Plant Scientists. Public sector organizations such as Geological Survey of India are one of the major employers in this sector. Apart from these, candidates who clear the NET exam can work as Lecturers in government colleges.
