Job profile: The accounts officer will be required to handle and manage the institute accounts and finances. They will have to carry audits. The technical superintendents would be required to work in mathematics, chemistry and electrical engineering departments and execute the activities assigned to them
Educational Qualifications: For junior accounts officer – A candidate must have a master’s degree in commerce and knowledge of accounting software. A candidate must have also passed SAS/JAO exam and an experience of 3 years. For junior technical superintendent – A candidate must be a B.E/B.TECH/M.Sc in the concerned field OR a candidate must be a B.Sc with an experience of 2 years OR an MCA with an experience of 1 year. A candidate must also have knowledge of computers.
No. of posts: There are 3 posts for junior accounts officer and 3 for junior technical superintendent (1 post in each department)
Pay scale: The pay scale for all the posts is Rs9300-34800 plus a grade pay of Rs4200 plus other allowances as per the rules.
Selection process: A candidate will have to appear in an interview. A candidate will also be judged on the basis of his/her educational qualifications.
How to apply: The candidates have to apply as per the format given on the website. The candidates have to pay a fee of Rs50 in the form of a DD drawn in the favor of Registrar, IIT Delhi payable at New Delhi. The candidates must attach the copies of their testimonials along with the application. All the applications must reach the superintendent (Recruitment Cell, Room No. MZ-113), IIT Delhi, Hauz Khas, New Delhi–110016
