Details on Federal Bank Recruitment of Probationary Officers
Recruitment to the post of Probationary Officer in Federal Bank is carried out on the basis of online aptitude test, group discussion and personal interview. Graduates having first class marks are eligible to apply. Final selection is done after successful completion of Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance conducted by Federal Manipal School of Banking.
Eligibility Criterion for Probationary Officer in Federal Bank
Candidates who have completed graduation in any discipline are eligible to apply for the post of Probationary Officer. They are required to secure a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in qualifying examination. Those who have completed graduation in regular mode are only eligible to apply. Final year candidates who are awaiting results can also apply for this post. Only Indian citizens are eligible. Candidates should have completed 21 years of age at the time of application. Upper age limit for the recruitment is 26 years. Those who are belonging to Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Tribe are eligible to have relaxation up to 5 years in upper age limit.
Selection Procedure for Probationary Officer in Federal Bank
Eligible candidates are required to clear the online aptitude test conducted by the bank followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The time duration allotted for online aptitude test is 2 hours. There will be questions from the following topics.
- General Awareness and Marketing Aptitude
- Logical Reasoning Aptitude
- Numerical Ability
- Computer Awareness
- English Language
There will be negative marking for wrong answer. Those who have cleared the sectional cut off in online aptitude test will be short listed for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Successful candidates will be selected for one year training process called Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance conducted by Federal Manipal School of Banking. Candidates are required to pay Rs. 3Lakhs as course fee. Bank will provide this amount as loan for selected candidates. After the successful completion of this course, candidates will be absorbed by Federal Bank as Probationary Officers.
Application Procedure
Candidates who wish to apply for this post are required to apply online from the official website of Federal Bank. They will be asked to provide details about education, personal details and contact details. Applicants should have valid email id. Application fee is Rs. 400/-. Those who are belonging to SC/ ST require paying Rs. 50/-. Fee payment can be made by Federal Bank Challan downloaded from the bank’s website. Apart from this, candidates can use debit/ credit card and NEFT/ internet banking facility for fee payment. Those who have successfully completed online application form are advised to take print out copies of completed application form. They will have to produce it at the time of online examination.
