to join CBI you have to qualify UPSC exam.

as minimum qualification graduation is require to attain in the UPSC exam.

Eligibility Criteria:-To join CBI you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year.

QUALIFICATION: Minimum Qualification is Graduation in any Discipline.

If you are willing to join CBI, you may appear for the Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam, conducted by Staff Selection Commission.
To take the test, you must be a graduate within the age limit of 20-27 years.
Candidates who belong to SC/ST category are eligible upto the maximum age of 32 years and candidates belonging to OBC can take the test upto 30 years of age.

there is no procedure to join in CBI. you should write upsc exam and opt for ips(intelligence bureau).according to your achievements and capabilities you will be posted as a CBI officer

What are the physical requirment for CBI officer

To become a CBI you need to go through a Combined Graduate Level Examination of Staff Selection Commission that is conducted by Government of India and it has 4 stages and you need to clear each of these or will be eliminated. Apart from that there are some physical requirements that you need to fulfill like the height must be minimum 165 cm and chest 76 cms.

Eligibility of CBI Officer

Age limit :- candidate should be minimum 20 and maximum 27.

Qualification:- Graduation having more than 50% marks in total can appear for
UPSC Examination. Also you should need to pass the combines graduate level examination of Staff Selection Commission as conducted by Government of India. You should need to clear its four stages.

You should need to fulfill the physical requirements like height and chest etc.

CBI recruits by SSC and they give advertisement in Employment News Paper and other news papers.

i am a army person, completed 15 years service. I would like to join cbi after my premature retirement from army. I enrolled in the army as soldier clerk on 10th pass basis. What are the relaxation/posts i will get in cbi

Dear friend,

To join CBI you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year.

Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for CBI exam.(Criminology)

But your age should be in between 20 to 27 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

Also you must be in citizen in India.

The selection process is contain in two stage

In first stage written test:-

1)General question ---------- 200marks
2)English -------------------200 marks

In second stage you can faced an interview which is contain 100 marks.
