Details on Gujarat All India PG Dental Entrance Test (AIPGDET)
AIPGDET is conducted by the consortium of Self financed Dental colleges in Gujarat for admission to the PG Dental courses. All BDS candidates on completion of the 1 year internship program and having a permanent registration with Dental Council of India can apply for this test. The duration of the AIPGDET is 3 hours and total of 200 questions. The fees for some of the top self financed Dental Colleges in Gujarat like Narsinhbhai Patel Dental College and Hospital, Visnagar, M.P. Patel Dental College and Dental Hospital, Vadodara, College of Dental Sciences and Research Centre, Ahmedabad is around Rs 500000/-.
Eligibility Criteria
All those candidates who are interested in taking part in Gujarat All India PG Dental Entrance Test (AIPGDET) should be Indian nationals. BDS graduates can apply for this entrance examination. A permanent registration with the Dental Council of India along with 1 year internship program is a prerequisite for candidates who attend this exam. Candidates who are currently pursuing the final year Internship program are also eligible to attend AIPGDET. This is provided they are able to acquire the registration certificate before 31st March 2013 from Dental Council of India. Candidates can choose any of the following specialization streams as per their interest for Post Graduate courses after qualifying for Gujarat All India PG Dental Entrance Test (AIPGDET) –

Exam Pattern of Gujarat All India PG Dental Entrance Test (AIPGDET)
The format of AIPGDET is multiple choice questions. 3 hours is the duration of this entrance examination. A total of 200 questions carrying 1 mark each are included in AIPGDET. The entrance examination will cover questions from the following subject areas -

Candidates who pass AIPGDET need to attend the counseling process. It is necessary to pay tuition fees during counseling process.
