Admission Process in Rawal Institute of Engineering & Technology (RIET)

In order to join for B.Tech courses in any of the above mentioned subject specializations, it is essential to complete 12th class in science stream with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST categories). Subjects like physics, mathematics, and chemistry need to be studied in this level. Apart from this, they should have studied any of the following as optional subjects.

To get admission for B.Tech course, it is essential for candidates to attempt and qualify Joint Entrance Examination (JEE – Advanced and Main). Candidates who attain a good score in JEE – Main, can apply for under graduate courses. Selected candidates will be called for counseling process organized by Haryana State Counseling society (HSCS).

To join M.Tech, candidates need to complete B.E/B.Tech course in the specific field with at least 50% marks. Graduate Engineering Test in Engineering (GATE) score is considered for admission process. Final selection of candidates to M.Tech is done on the basis of candidate’s performances in GATE, personal interview, work experience (if any) and past academic record.
