NIPER 2012 PhD
Every year NIPER, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research conducts entrance exam for the PhD aspirants in the Pharmaceutical field. The institute is one of those academic body established under the central Government of India receiving the national acceptance in the programs offered. The quality of the academic practices and the unique learning experience offered by NIPER attracts many of the higher studies and professional aspirants to choose the institute. The PhD entrance test is commonly known as the PhD JAT, Joint Admission Test. The conducting institute for Phd JAT is NIPER, Mohali.
Structure of NIPER PhD JAT
NIPER PhD JAT is of multiple choice objective type format. The NIPER PhD entrance paper is divided into two parts with 85 questions. The first section is a common section for all the candidates and in the second part there will be three options and the students can choose depending upon their research area. For all the qualified candidates of the written test there will be an interview of 15 marks, the final stage of the selection process. The wrong answers in the examination carries negative marks.

Eligibility Criteria
The minimum criterion for taking the examination is post graduation in the Pharmaceutical discipline. The candidates with M.Pharm, MS, M.Tech, M Sc, M V Sc, MCA etc. in the related discipline of pharmacy are eligible to apply for the Doctoral program offered by NIPER. They must have at least 60% marks in the masters program and must have a minimum GATE/NET score for certain disciplines. The candidates can get the detailed information regarding the eligibility requirements from the information booklet.
How to Apply?
The candidates can apply through online using the official URL. The form is available from the NIPER admission office. They can also get the form through post by sending the DD with the request letter.
How to fill the Form?
The candidates can fill the form only after reading the instruction given in the prospectus. The applicants need to provide the correct information and should attach the suggested documents without any fail. The form should fill in their own handwriting and affix the photo and signature on the given column. The completed application form should reach the NIPER center with in the final dates.

The PhD JAT result are available in the NIPER Mohali website and the students can get the detailed result after giving the exam details
Score Validity
The score validity period is one year and for the new academic year admission the candidates should take the new exam.
