HAI i want to do my phd .with scolar ship in niper.i didnt qualify gate.may i enter through net exam. and need detailes a bout it

Eligibility Criteria:

A candidate should have M.Pharma/MS(Pharma)/Masters in a relevant discipline of Pharmacy or equivalent with atleast 60% aggregate or equivalent. Also the candidate should have valid GATE/NET scores for several disciplines. The eligibility criteria for different programmes varies in terms of the qualifying degree therefore refer to the admission notification for details. Those in their final year can also apply.

How to Apply:

Candidates can obtain the application forms in person or by post by sending a request for the form to NIPER, Mohali. Candidates have to send the filled form along with copies of their NET/GATE scorecard

for doing phd in niper you will have to appear for the entrance exam by niper and you must have a valid GATE/NET score.....

here you dont have a valid GATE score so valid NET score will do your work..

For this year there is no GATE for schlorship as well as admission to m.pharma courses,it has been replaced by a new entrance nameing- Graduate Pharmaceutical Aptitude Test (GPAT 2010) for scholarships/admission to MPharm programmes in Pharmaceutical Sciences will be conducted by National Monitoring Committee under the banner of AICTE. More details regarding this can be found at the websites of MS University Baroda and AICTE.

So,you can appear for it.

You can not get there through NET.

yes..you can do Ph.d through NET selection..it is the authrised eligliblity to study Ph.d ..you can take pharmacy as your specialisation..you can get the details and previous papers in UGC website where most of the syllabus can be covered in the previous papers.

You have to go through the GPAT entrance exam for studying Phd in pharmacy.

If you had valid GATE score then also you were eligible for appearing in this entrance exam.

After M.Pharm, you should go for Phd in NIPER, through crscking the GPAT test and scoring a good score.

there are different institutions that provide ph.D in pharmacy with scholarship .
1. NIPER
2. MANIPAL UNIVERSITY
3.CSIR-NET exam

for appearing NET exam you must be qualified in GPAT and must have completed your masters degree in pharmacy with atleast 60% aggregate in your academics.
