Profile:

Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) was established at the time of the formation of the state of Andhra Pradesh i.e. on November 1, 1956. The commission initially included one chairman and three members but noe the strength of the commission is of a charman and 5 members.

Job profile:

Candidates can apply for the posts of Technical Assistants and Assistant Hrdrologists in different fields Geophysics, Hydrology etc.

Eligibility:

Candidates should be in between the age limit of 18 to 39 years. Candidates more than 39 years of age will not be considered for the above specified posts.

Educational Qualification:

The minimum educational qualification required for the above specified posts should be attained by the interested candidates otherwise their application will be rejected straightaway.

No of posts: There are 25 posts in total for the posistion of Technical Assistant while 25 posts are available for the position of Assistant Hydrologists in Groundwater Subordinate Services.

Pay Scale: Rs.9285-21550/- will be given as the salary to the selected candidates for the posts of Technical Assistant while Assistant Hydrologists will get the salary of Rs. Rs.10285-24200/-.

Selection Criteria:

Both Written test and interview must be cleared by the candidates for the posts of Technical Assistant and Assistant Hydrologists.
