Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (AP PSC) was established on November 1, 1956 based on the regulations of Madras Public Service Commission. The commission works under Article 320 of the Constitution of India. It conducts Departmental tests and Group Services examinations regularly for recruiting candidates for various posts in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Job Profile:

Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (AP PSC) invites applications for the posts of Assistant Hydrologists and Assistant Hydrogeologists in Groundwater Subordinate Services.

No. of posts – Total number of 25 posts is divided as Assistant Hydrologists – 5; Assistant Hydrogeologists - 20

P ay Scale – Rs. 10285-24200

Eligibility:

Age Criteria: Minimum age limit for the candidates applying for the post is 18 yrs and maximum age limit is 39 yrs, which is relaxable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: M.Sc. Degree or M.Sc. (Tech.) or M.Tech. in respective field from a recognized University or U.G.C recognized institution. For further details about the educational qualification refer the commission’s website.

Selection Process:

The selection includes written examination followed by an interview.

Eligible interested candidates must apply online through the website of Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission at www.apspsc.gov.in, after paying the application and examination fee. Only online application is allowed and Hand Written/Typed/Photostat Copies/Printed Application Form will not be accepted.

Application Fee:

Candidates must pay Rs. 25 towards Application Processing Fee + Rs. 120 towards Examination Fee. The candidates must pay the prescribed fee in any one of the  Online centers of State Bank of India at Andhra Pradesh. SC/ST candidates are excluded from paying the examination fee.
