Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi was established under the act of Delhi Government or IIIT Delhi Act, 2007 as a state university. The major objective of the university is to perform research and developmet work and also to grant degrees to the students. The university has established itself as a global centre of excellence in the field of education, research and develpment in Information Technology stream. University is determined to train as well as educate students at both undergraduate and post graduate levels.
Job Profile:
Candiates can apply for the faculty positions as regular and visiting faculty at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi. The positions of Regular Faculty will be at all levels i.e. Assistant Professor, Professor, Associate Professor etc.
Eligibility:
Candidates should not be more than the prescribed age for the posts. Candidates having age more than the prescribed age limit should not apply for the posts.
Educational Qualification:
Ph.D. in the field of computer science with an experience of three years is required for the posts of Regular Faculty while candidates should have the prescribed qualification required for the posts of Visiting Faculty.
No. of posts: Several posts are available for both the positions i.e. Regular Faculty and Visiting Faculty.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be paid the prescribed amount of rupees as the consolidated salary depending on their positions.
Selection criteria:
Both written examination and personal interview are included in the process of the final selection of the candidates for the posts of Regular Faculty and Visiting Faculty.

I am an M.Sc.(IT) passed out in 2006 and DCA and having experience of 3.5 years of lecturer ship in Rajiv Gandhi Computer College, Satna (M.P.) for Computer Fundamental, Database Management System (DBMS), MS Office Package , Oracle, Visual Basic etc. and 1 year of Lab assistance experience in the same college before that.
I have recently shifted to Dwarka, New Delhi from Mumbai and currently looking for a job of a Computer teacher/tutor for any of above mentioned subject. Please contact me.
