Profile:

Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) was established by the Central Government under the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948. The major objective behind the establishement of the corporation was to protect the interest of workers in problems like Sickeness, Maternity etc that results in the loss of wages or earning capacity of the workers. The major function performed by ESIC is to administer the scheme. The prescribed scheme was actually implemented in the year 1952 at Kanpur and Delhi.

Job Profile:

Candidates can apply for the recruitment of Lower Division Clerks (LDC) in Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Gujarat depending on their educational qualification.

Eligibility:

Candidates should be between 18 to 27 yers of age. Candidates having age less than 18 years or more than 27 years will not be considered for the posts.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should attain Higher Secondary Pass or equivalent from a recognized board. Candidates are also required to have the working knowledge of computer too with a typing speed of atleast 40 words per minute in English or 35 words per minute in Hindi.

No. of posts: 50 posts in total (Gen-27, SC-3, ST-7, OBC-13)

Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs.1900/- is the prescribed salary for the posts of LDC.
