Company profile: The ministry of commerce undertakes the areas of international trade, state trade, purchasing and inspection of stores, providing trade facilities etc. The ministry of textiles is responsible for planning, making policies, making available the raw materials to all sectors, promotion of trade etc.
Job profile: The role of an accountant will be to handle the monetary accounts and their management. Administrative work and establishments are also some of the important parts of the job.
Eligibility: The candidate should be an Indian citizen. The age of a candidate must not exceed 56 years. However, relaxation can be claimed.
Education required: A candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university. An analogous post must have been held prior to applying for this job OR an experience of two years at a grade pay of Rs2400 must be held. A candidate having the working knowledge of computer will be given preference.
No. of posts: The total no. of posts vacant is not specified but the candidates will be required to work at Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata Offices.
Pay scale: The candidates will be given a revised pay band of Rs5200-20200 with a grade pay of Rs2800.
Selection procedure: The candidates will be selected on the basis of their educational qualifications and their relevant experience.

i have passed combined graduate level exam 2010 in the post of accountant. got a letter for medical test and biodata, which i sent by post. and my posting will be in kolkata, mentioned in that letter. but, till now i don’t get any reply. can anyone give me any information in this matter?
