NIACL AAO Exam Administrative officers, The New India Assurance Company Limited
Company profile: It is an insurance company with its offices spread all over the country. It was the first company to set up an Aviation Insurance Department in 1946. The main objectives of the organization are to keep the customers financially insured and to develop a general insurance business.
Job profile: The role of the officers will be to administer the various departments like IT, Accounts etc. They will be keeping a check of the synchronization of various activities. They will also be working in areas of law and engineering.
Eligibility: Only Indian nationals can apply. The age of a candidate must be between 21 and 30 years. However, relaxation can be claimed as per rules.
Education required: A candidate must have a degree in M.Tech/M.E (IT, Computer science) OR MCA OR MIT (masters in IT) OR MCM (masters in computer management) with an aggregate of 55% marks OR a candidate may have a B.E/B.Tech degree with 60% aggregate marks from a recognized university for the post of specialists.
A candidate must be a graduate with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST candidates) marks in aggregate or Post Graduate with 55% (50% for SC/ST candidates) from recognized university for the post of generalists.
No. of posts: There are 310 posts for generalists and 50 for specialists at the administrative level.
Pay scale: The candidate will be given a pay scale of Rs11110-540(14)-18670-560(4)-20910.
Selection procedure: The candidates have to appear in a written test which might be followed by an interview.
How to apply: The candidates have to pay a fee of Rs500 for GEN/OBC and Rs150 for SC/ST in the form of a DD drawn in favor of ‘THE NEW INDIA ASSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED’ payable at Mumbai.
The candidates have to send the application in the format available on the website. Applications must be super scribed with “NIACL Administrative Officer Post (indicate the Group Code for which application is made) and SC/ST/OBC/ECO/SSRCO/PWD/GEN (whichever is applicable)” and send the complete applications along with the DD and desired enclosures by ordinary post to
