Eligibility for applying to the AIPMT exam:

For applying to the AIPMT exam, candidates must be Indian citizens and they should have completed 17 years of age on or before the 31st December of the year in which he/she is seeking admission. Candidates must have completed their senior secondary or higher secondary examination with not less than 50% of marks in physics, chemistry and biology subjects (40% for candidates falling under SC/ST and other backward classes). Pattern of AIPMT exam:

AIPMT examination is conducted in two stages being preliminary and final examination. The preliminary exam includes one paper, which includes 200 objective type questions from biology, chemistry and physics subjects and the duration of this exam is three hours. Candidates who get through the preliminary exam are called for final exam, which constitutes two papers, of which the first paper is from physics and chemistry and the second is from biology.
