Andhra Mahila Sabha Trust Board formed the Andhra Mahila Sabha College of Fine Arts & Media Education in the year 2005 on the month of February. Even though, the college was formed in the month of February, its functions begun from the month of July 2005. The college is affiliated to Potti Sree Ramulu University as a self-financing college. The college was formed with two main objectives and they are creation of employment opportunities and promotion of fine arts. Even though, the name denotes that it is meant for women students, even male students are permitted to join the part-time courses offered by the college. The college is offering different courses in arts and music thereby enabling women and men empowerment.

Courses offered:

The college is offering the following courses:

Part-time courses:

• Two years diploma course in light music.

• One-year certificate course in carnatic music.

• One-year certificate course in semi-classical devotional music.

• One-year certificate course in Hindustani Light music.

• Instrumental music course in instruments like Tabla, Veena, Violin, Guitar and Keyboard. In these instrumental music courses, the college is providing training for the students to attend the examination conducted by Trinity College of Music located at London.

• Three months certificate course in news reading/dubbing/anchoring.

• Kuchipudi Dance

Full-time course:

• Three years under graduation programme in B.A. Music and this course is offered as full–time course.

Courses proposed to be introduced:

In addition to the above-mentioned courses, the college is also planning to introduce some more courses like three months certificate course in medical transcription and six months certificate course in 3D animation.
