Application Form of IIBF-JAIIB Exam
The Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF) is constituted of various banks and financial institutes and employees of these banks. IIBF is governed by a body of members that include eminent personalities in this sector and also academicians. It is a distance learning institute that offers many diploma and certificate courses for those who wish to pursue a career in the financial sector.
Junior Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (JAIIB) is one such exam conducted by IIBF. It aims at providing a basic knowledge in the various operations of the banking sector.
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate needs to be a member of the IIBF.
- It is compulsory for the candidate to pass the matriculation examination. Clerical or supervisory staffs of banks, who are not a matriculate, can also apply provided he has a recommendation from his bank manager.
Applying for the Exam
The exams application form will be available at the official site of IIBF or obtained from the zonal and corporate offices of the institute. The exam is conducted two times a year, probably in May-June and November/December. The candidate can select the examination center according to their convenience. The IIBF membership number needs to be mentioned in the form. The exam is conducted in two mediums i.e. English and Hindi. The candidate can choose the preferred medium. The exam can be taken online or offline. There is provision in the form to mention this too. There is a list of centers from where the candidate can appear for the exam. The candidate needs to check carefully and enter the center code and center name in the form. The exam fee can be paid as a demand draft or by cash at the SBI or AXIS bank. The candidate needs to collect the receipt slip form the bank. This has to be enclosed with the form. The payment details have to be mentioned in the form in the space given.
Online Application form
The application form is available in the official website if IIBF. The candidate has to download and take the print out of the form. The filled application form along with the exam fee, as mentioned at the time of application has to be sent to the zonal offices.
Offline Application form
The application form for IIBF- JAIIB exam is available from the zonal and corporate offices of the institute. The candidate can personally collect the application form or sent a request by post to the institute address.
Filling the Application Form
- A few important things to be kept in mind while filling the form.
- The candidates are requested to read the prospectus very carefully prior to filling the application form.
- The forms are to be filled block letters in his/her handwriting.
- Be careful not to over write.
- There are precise codes to be entered in the computer registration sheet which are available in the prospectus.
- Check carefully while entering these codes.
- The properly filled up forms are to be sent along with the set of documents which are mentioned in the prospectus.

On 26th Aug 2010 I applied for first block of JAIIB Exam,
Transaction Id of online submitted form and fees is 023814371871, Rs. 1800 deposited on line,
I took the Exam in Nov-Dec 2010 as first attempt,
I passed one paper,
I wish to appear in May -2011 Exam,
I tried to get my Admit Card through online,
but getting message as” no record for this membership no.
Transaction Id ”
Please help me to get my admit card for second attempt .
