Subordinate Services Commission was re-designated as Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on 26th September, 1977. Making recruitment to Group C and Group B posts in departments of Government of India is the main responsibility of SSC. Nine regional/sub-regional offices located at different states of India consitutes the network of Staff Selection Commission. A Chairmen assisted by two members and a secretary or controller of Examination, heads the commission.

1. Recruitment of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade I (Wireless Telegraphy) in Intelligence Bureau:

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or Telecommunication Engineering or Master’s degree in Computer Applications or B.E. or B.Tech in Information Technology.

2. Recruitment of Botanical Assistant in Botanical Survey of India:
