Assistant Enforcement Officers are responsible for inspecting the employees working in various departments under central government. They ensure whether the employees are working under the rules and regulations specified by the government. It is their duty to give report to the department heads, if they find any violation in the specified rules or regulations.

Qualifying Exam

To become an assistant enforcement officer, one should qualify the assistant enforcement officer exam conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Notification of this examination will be published in the newspaper or the official website which contain the details of application procedure and eligibility. Candidates should forward their applications to the concerned authority in the manner specified in the notification. There will be an interview for the candidates who have scored well in the written examination. Those who perform well in the interview will be appointed as assistant enforcement officer.

Who are eligible to apply?

Candidates who have completed their graduation from any recognized university can apply for the assistant enforcement officer exam conducted by Staff Selection Commission. Graduation can be completed in any stream as desired by the candidates.

Age limit is specified for the candidates who are applying for this exam conducted for the recruitment of assistant enforcement officer. The specified age limit is between eighteen years and twenty seven years. Privileged candidates will be given relaxation in upper age limit. Relaxation of three years will be given for OBC category while five years will be given for SC/ST category. Assistant enforcement officer exam will be conducted in two sections, preliminary exam and main exam. Candidates who have qualified in the preliminary examination can only write the main examination. Interview is the last stage of the recruitment process conducted for selecting eligible candidates to post of assistant enforcement officer. Personality and the mental ability of the candidates will be tested in the interview.

    What is the procedure top be followed for applying for officer - Enforcement under Central govt. & when are the dates for the same.
    Also please tell about the exams/application for Officer level entry in CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) and the remuneration for both the posts - Enforcement & CBI.
