Jharkhand Public Service Commission was established under Government of Jharkand, Government of India. The major objective behind the establishment of the commission was to have a body responsible for making recruitment on the various government posts in the state of Jharkhand only. The commission actually came into existence under the provisions of the Article 315 of the Constitution of India. Jharkhand Public Service Commission is responsible to conduct competitive written as well as personal interview eaminations for the making the final selections of the candidates on the government posts in the state.

Job Profile:

Candidates are invited to apply for the vacant posts of Assistant Engineer (Civil) and Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) in Jharkhand Public Service Commission. The vacancies are available in the department of Water Resources, Goverment of Jharkhand, Ranchi. Only eligible Indian Nationals are invited to apply for the specified positions of Assistant Engineer.

Eligibility:

Interested candidates must strictly follow the age criteria set for the posts of Assistant Engineer for being eligible for applying. Candidates must have age more than the prescribed minimum agelimit but not more than the prescribed maximum age limit set for the posts as on 1 January 2012. Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be provided or given the prescribed amount of salary i.e. Rs. 15000-40000 (approx).

Selection Process:

Selection process for the posts of Assistant Engineer is comprises of two stages, Written Examination and Personal Interview Test. Candidates are required to qualify in both the stages of the selection process for being considered at the time of making final selections for the specified positions.
