Profile:
Jharkhand JPSC Upgrade Secondary School comes under the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) under the Human resource Department in the Government of Jharkand. Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) was established with the aim of making a commission fully responsible for making the recruitment for the government posts in the state. The main objective of the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) is to conduct written competitive examination and also the interviews for the selections of the candidates for any government posts in the state.
Job Profile:
Candidates can apply for the posts of Teachers in the Jharkhand JPSC Upgrade Secondary School under Human Resource Department in Jharkhand Government. Candidates will have to do some other staff works as well besides the regular work of teaching students.
Eligibility: The age limit set for the interested candidates is 21-40 years. There is also relaxation in age for various categories as per rules.
Educational Qualification:
Graduate degree is needed with atleast 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate for applying for the posts.
No. of Posts: 2050 posts in total are available in Jharkhand JPSC Upgrade Secondary School.
Pay Scale: The pay scale set for the selected candidates for the posts of teachers is Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs.4200.
Selection Process:
The final selection for the posts of teacher will be made totally on the base of the candidate’s performance in the competitive exam that will be conducted by Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC).
How to Apply: Rs. 100/- ( Rs.50 for SC/ST candidates ) in the form of a demand draft drawn in favour of Jharkhand Public Service Commission payable at Ranchi should be delievered alongwith the complete application form to the Controller of Examination, Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC), Circular Road, Ranchi - 834001, Jharkhand.
Last date of receipt of the application form is 5 March 2010.

HRD is drafting a letter for directing JAC to early organize of Up-graded High School Teachers Exam for the personnel applied through JAPC and cancelled exam of Biology. Exam may be held on any date in March’13. Advisor to the Governer has also directed Director Secondary School and chief Secretary, Education to early finalize all pending issues by giving 03 months time frame to them.

Aarti, Please wait for HRD decision. It is possible that all candidates who have applied through JPSC will be given chance to appear in the exam to be condcuted by JAC as per court order. However, JAC is planning to give chance to only those candidates who have not applied through JAC due to cut of date for age.

Anyone who had an exact information when jpsc is going to challenge by filling appeal to double Bench of High Court of Ranchi & it’s possible HRD published the results within 15 days. What is the next step taken by the promod kumar jha, when HRD send the requisition letter to jpsc. one thing more about the information of petition of contempt, jpsc received the concerned notice or not, what is the date of contempt given by the high court. After the lapse of 15 days, what is the exact matter of contempt taken by JPSC or students, why it is delayed to take the decision of contempt. I’ve a news for all prospective high school teachers that till date LPA has not been filed by the JPSC . At the same time it is very interesting to note that HRD is very passive regarding the LPA . As far as we are concerned, contempt petition has been filed .In this case also a peculiar thing happened as contrary to HRD, JPSC had not received the concerned notice. At this time it is very difficult to understand their move .
Vivekananda had rightly said “Strenth is life and weakness is death “. So be strong and hope for better.

I in yr 2010 as per advertisement numbers 02/2010 & 05/2010 for the post of Hindi teacher had applied .Further in the changed circumstances when a fresh advertisement was published I applied again vide Advertisement No. 93/2011 for the same . the education minister has created a lot of confusion through his statement regarding the recruitment process after the results of the JTET was formally announced a couple of days back.what is the current stand of the govt.? does Mrs. Laxmi Singh’s announcement that the passing candidates would be recruited have no value??? looking at the paucity of teachers, wont it be wise for the minister to dash in for recruiting the handful of teachers who have qualified this tough exam? the FORUM i am addressing to, should be active enough to form a pressure on the govt. to speed up the recruitment procedure

Friends, I also one of them who are waiting exam date for upgraded high school teacher exam. But according to sources now exam will be conducted by jharkhand academic council and it going to advt vacancies again. So it is bad news for all of us. Bcz it will delay the whole process again.
