Atharva Institute of Management Studies works under the control of the Atharva Educational Trust. The college is one of the popular management institutes in Mumbai.  The full time management course offered by the institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

The Atharva Institute of Management Studies offers the following post graduate courses in the field of management:

The postgraduate course available in the college is full time MMS (Master of Management Studies), and part time MFM (Master in Financial Management). The duration of the full time MMS course is two years. The duration of the part time MFM course is three years.

Eligibility criteria for getting admission:

The candidates, who have passed graduation in any discipline, are eligible to apply for the MMS course. They must get qualified in the MAH-MBA/MMS-CET/ CAT, MAT, XAT, JMET, ATMA, CET, JEE (State conducted tests / University tests) conducted by the Mumbai University  as well as in the group discussion and personal interview conducted by the college, in order to get admission for the MMS course in the college.

The candidates, who have passed a graduate degree in any discipline with at least 45% marks and who have work experience of minimum two years, are eligible to apply for the MFM course. They must get qualified in the personal interview conducted by the college, in order to get admission for the MFM course in the college.

The institute has well furnished classrooms equipped with the latest teaching aids and audio visual aids.
