Hi,
I want to know that Is there any MBA college that does not require a 50% criteria for admission in their 2 years PGDM program.

I am keen to pursue my MBA but I find it very difficult to find a good colleague which does not has 50 percent bar with them.

Kindly let me know as what needs to be done and how.

I am a good student but for some reason I did not score 50 percent in my Graduation B.A.


Your advice will be highly crucial for me as it will decide my future course of action.

Hello u can get ur MBA from any university in orissa..% does nt matter,it requires only graduation in any strm..the universities are north orissa,utkal,Berhampur,FM,Sambalpur...get all detail of these universities..

For sure you can get good colleges let me tell you the minimum eligibility criteria for MAT exam is Graduate in any discipline or Final year students of Graduate Courses, so it depends on how you score in the MAT or other combine entrance exam you choose.

So you better focus on your score on that exam, so start preparation accordingly and i surely hope you will get what you want.

as you don't have minimum of 50% marks in graduation then you will not be eligible to take admission in MBA in top institution.

but do not worry some moderate institution will also give you chance to take admission there. but first of all you have to score a good result in MBA entrance examination in CAT or MAT or any other entrance examination. after scoring good try to find out college which may give you chance to take admission.

surely you will get good college. some university also don't have minimum marks criterion like that you may try for that type of institution.

--You can take admission in MBA colleges but may be possible you will get admission in self finance college.
--You can try again for MAT exams to score more % for getting admission in good colleges.

many colleges have not critiria less than 50%. you search the listed of those colleges that are fullfill your criteria.
much colleges give admission the basis of mat exam so do the hard work n give the mat exam.

to get admission in MBA from top colleges than you should have atleast more than 50%. but there are many colleges in which you can get admission in MBA course like

Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam Kerala
Invertis Institute of management and studies, bareilly
Bangalore Institute of Management Studies (BIMS), Bangalor
Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh

Now a days 50% is a must for entrance in each and every Institute.Your not even eligible for CAT if you belong to the GEN/BC category.But,if your a candidate from SC/ST category then you can get a relaxation of 5%.

For MAT there is nothing to do with marks hence your eligible for the MAT examination.But many of the B.schools undertake candidates who have got an aggregate above 50% in their under graduation course.But if your MAT score is too good then this may not come to effect.

Prepare well for MAT and get selected in top B.schools.Work hard and sure you will succeed in MAT.

50% is excat criteria for cat and mat.
u just prepare ur studies and qualify those examinations

i have 48% in my graduation but still i will be appearing for the MAT dec exams. however my question is how to apply to decent colleges even after knowing that they do require a 50% in grads. i am really confused by some of the reply as:

Try for IIFT DELHI, they do not require 50% in Graduation for their own entrance test and it is ranked 7th in India.
