Azad Degree College was established in the year 2008 with only a single UG course and the college is hoping to introduce several other new courses in the forth coming academic years. The courses offered by the college are affiliated to Lucknow University and the college is located at about 15 km from the railway station of Lucknow.

Courses Offered:

As mentioned earlier, the college is at its teething stage and so at present only Bachelor of Business Administration is the single course offered by the college. The college is also planning to introduce Bachelor in Management studies and bachelor of computer application shortly.

Eligibility and Admission Procedure:

For the BBA course offered by the college, the candidate must have completed 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 50% of marks and the college is admitting 60 students per year for this course. The admission process begins with entrance examination followed by Group discussion. Of the total number of 60 seats, 85% of the seats are filled through entrance examination and remaining 15% of seats are filled through management quota.

Course Structure:

The duration of the course is three years, which is divided into two semesters per year. The teaching methodology followed by the college includes lectures, management games, industry analysis and case study to facilitate interactive sessions among students. The primary objective of the course is to develop conceptual knowledge base and its application, development of right values and attitude, inter-personal, communication and decision making skills among the prospective managers.

Facilities and Infrastructure:

The campus of the college includes several facilities like placement cell, sports ground, separate hostels for boys and girls, computer centre and library. The central library of the college is offering book bank facility to the needy students and this book bank is functioning at  a nominal fees.
